Nykola Shroll-Lee

My name is Nykola and I have been working in education for over twenty years. I have extensive experience of teaching in the UK, the UAE, KSA, Libya, Germany, Italy and Spain.

I have extensive experience in lecturing at Universities in the UK and ASIA.

I initially qualified as a lawyer, with a Masters in Human Rights before moving into education. As part of my M.Ed (Masters in Education), I spent one year focusing on special educational needs and gained considerable experience working with children in special educational needs units in the North West of England. After completing my Masters, I worked with autistic children and teenagers on both ends of the spectrum and I also worked in an educational unit for teenagers who self-harmed and/or suffered from suicidal ideation. I have worked with special needs students on a one to one basis as well as in classrooms. I have also taught both face to face and online and am fully confident delivering educational tuition via either method of instruction.

I am currently tutoring students in English Language, English Literature and Law and I have seen considerable results. One student has gone from averaging 29% in her law assignments, to now consistently being in the 60s within a space of three months. Another student, who I have been working with for the past four months has moved up a band in his English group and is now in the top set for both English Language and English Literature at school.

I hold certificates at Level 2 in Autism Awareness and Mental Health Awareness. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree, half of which focused on psychology. I am currently studying for my Doctorate in Education, which focuses on the legal duty of care and student suicide.
